That just seems to odd, I just get the feeling it would be some massive hurricane like "The Alpha" (the beginning... beginning of what!.

I don't know how to explain it, but I am pretty sure everyone see's the point.

alpha is the Beginning and Omega is the end watch out these storms sound like a Cat 10 which is unheard of but God contorls the weather you never know.I heard of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse but what about the four canes.you know the ones that make landfall in NYC,Tokyo,Los Angles,Hong Kong.Think of the economic impact that would have

I dont think Los Angeles will ever see a hurricane, but the other 3 could happen

even 1 out of 3 would put the world into an economic tailspin like we never witnessed

My intent was NEVER to cause panic. I sincerely apologize if what I
said came across that way.
It was ONLY to make everyone AWARE of what's there.

The situation right now is just a wait in see. It is not a panic.

But don't forget- 6 areas of disturbed weather at once is not something you see everyday.

While nastycat4 has some points, his accusations are unfounded.

I think nastycat is just being a contrarian to spark up some arguements and conversation.

When it is September 5th, to assert that the peak of the season has past is simply ludicrous.
When all is said and done, there may end up being fewer than "normal" storms in September, no one will know until September is over.

But to claim that the peak has past, today September 5th; is just simply wrong.
It is a claim that cannot be substantiated.
NO historical reference can be made to support it.
There are numerous areas of disturbed weather, which is normal; and the peak is September 10th.

However, I must say that his/her post has succeeded in launching conversation which I think was the intention in the first place.

I was wondering when someone was going to bring this up.

I can't wait to see Joe Bastardi tonight on Fox! He'll be the wild man of all performances!

This is going to be must see T.V.! (I just hope it's at halftime during my HURRICANES victory romp in Tallahasse)

By the way gang, does anyone have that great satellite photo from 1995 showing the 5 named storms all in the Atlantic at one time? I can't find it but it's worth posting to show that not only is it possible, but quite fascinating from a weather perspective.

He's usually on Geraldo, but I'm not sure of their lineup tonight. Just watch between 8 pm and 11 pm EDT and he'll be on. He's been getting great pub for his work.

And he was the first to warn of 2-3 systems possibly by the end of this week. I did hear him say that.....

I partially agree. Not everything, just chips of it. There is still way worse, plus I don't personally believe the 2nd coming will be anytime soon. I would put it in a good forward by about 100 years, there is just active seasons, and unactive. The world faces pandemics every century. All this hype about the 2nd coming is just what happens it seems for every generation. We all have our 2nd coming fears, personally I think it is possible it could happen, but it wont. It just might be a "story" to fear the world that is could end at any given second so keep your faith! It's more or less to me something to keep you devoted to God because you never know when the 2nd coming could happen, because most people think of death as something that is way out there and personally they just don't think it will happen to them. I don't know, I'm lost now!

With all due respect to both post authors; can you take the religion discussion to another board rather than the Talkin Tropics board?

I think S2K has a policy against religious discussions.

Ok folks let's return to discuss about the theme of this thread and not deviate to other issues that are polemic.

FY=If discussion continues to not focus on theme of thread it will be locked.

There's a lot out there - but I don't know, none of it seems all that interesting to me. Maria = up and out, TD 15 = up and out, and I'm not sold on that wimpy mass of clouds just to my east.

92L WOULD be the most interesting, but for the fact that it looks pretty weak.

There's a lot out there, but I don't see any of this stuff amounting to much. Hardly panic-worthy, that's for sure.

My apologies if I caused alarm or panic to anyone. Though it was not
my intent- the title I gave this post may have unintentionally aroused
panic.
Original Post has been edited- anything that might be interpreted as panicky has been taken out.
Post Title also edited.
