Two Atlantic Waves

#1 Postby PuertoRicoLibre » Tue Sep 06, 2005 10:31 am

This morning it seems that things may be getting moving in the Eastern Atlantic. There is one wave west of Cape Verde that has a low with it near 13N and somewhere along the 30Ws. There is another exiting Africa. I looked some shear forecast maps and from what I was able to understand it seems that the shear is forecast to relax as the first wave moves west. Same for the exiting wave. Anyone agree or disagree?

So far this season the far eastern atlantic has not been very favorable because of the sal and troughs that haved been in that area.Let's see if that part of the basin gets active as still there is time to do that or it continues slow.
