Systems over the gulf stream tend to have a good chance to deepen substantially (for obvious reasons) I doubt strongly that this system will be a TS by 11, but I think upgrade to 35 mph winds are a distinct possibility. It should become a TS sometime tonight

I see dry air to the north is there any chance that dry air will keep the intensity down?

No eye and I would say no upgrade until recon arrives early this a.m.. By 5 a.m. it is a real good bet. Watches and warnings will be extended northward and perhaps inland.
