Brenton sound water depths.

everyone talks about how shallow the water is in the northern Gulf so I was wondering how deep the water is in the brenton Sound area where all that storm surge piled up at and demolished the coast.

Looks like depths are in the range of 10-15 feet. (From NOAA nautical chart #11363) Here is an online chart:

:eek: you can go out miles and miles and the water is less then 20 ft :eek: No wonder why the surge is so bad. Some sections it looks you can go a ways out and the water is only up to your head.
