Brenton sound water depths.
everyone talks about how shallow the water is in the northern Gulf so I was wondering how deep the water is in the brenton Sound area where all that storm surge piled up at and demolished the coast.

Looks like depths are in the range of 10-15 feet. (From NOAA nautical chart #11363) Here is an online chart:
