driving to Miami

#1 Postby Texasblu » Tue Sep 06, 2005 9:40 pm

My 18 yr. old son will be driving from Port Charlotte to Miami this weekend. He will leave on Saturday morning and return sometime on Sunday. I'm a nervous Mom and I'm worried about him driving this distance by himself plus the fact that he's never been to Miami so I hope he doesn't manage to get himself lost. Anyway, will any of these storms have a bearing on the weather this weekend?
Thank you.

Miami should be fine this weekend. TD 16 is going to Jacksonville.

Our local mets are saying just to keep an eye on it because they're not certain where it's going. However, he should be fine to come over this weekend. :)
