Question for you golfers out there?

#1 Postby azsnowman » Sun Sep 04, 2005 6:39 pm

OK...I'm probably gonna get some "feedback" on this BUT.....I went out and ENJOYED myself for the FIRST time in OVER 3 WEEKS, I "NEEDED" a stress reliever BIG TIME. I went golfing and shot the BEST 9 holes I've EVER shot (seeings how I've only been playing 2 years now).....I shot a 45 for 9, the new course in Eagar Az.....45 miles from here, is a par 74, SO....NOT too shaby eh? What's your best for 9 holes?

I've shot a 70 on a par 72 - on my computer golf game. The closest I ever got to the real thing was as a caddy about 30 years ago.

Maybe after the kids are grown up and the wife goes back to work....

Me? LOL, all I can say when I play is "'fore!!!!!"

I do better being the cart bartender, serving to the folks who
are REALLY playing!

That's a good score, Dennis - keep playing and just enjoying
yourself.

I've shot a 44 before...my best this year is a 48. I'm getting worse (at golf) the older I get. Not like a fine wine :)

My best for 9 holes equals and average 18 holes. I blame the young lady driving the beer kart.

I don't play golf anymore due to Hayfever, but my sister has taken it pretty seriously since I stopped playing. She's got a best round of 65 I think on our local course, and a best of 66 in competition :) She also managed to score 2 hole in 1's and a Double Eagle (albatross) within 8 days, again in competition... I'm kinda glad I didn't keep playing as getting beaten by your little sister is very embarrassing

I'm too old and ill to play any game that demands running 18 bases.
