Rebuilding After Katrina
Sept. 8, 2005
Like most Americans, we at FSB are deeply concerned about the many residents of the Gulf Coast who are struggling to rebuild their lives after Hurricane Katrina. Many small businesses in the region have been devastated and face a tough road ahead. But entrepreneurs are known for their resilience, and if past experience is any guide, there will undoubtedly be many examples of ingenuity and heroism in the small-business community as the Gulf Coast recovers. If you run a business that was affected by the hurricane, we would like to find out how you are faring. We would also like to hear about small-business owners pitching in to aid the survivors or helping other ventures to get up and running again, or entrepreneurs coming up with innovative ways to help the rescue effort. If you know of any examples, please let us know by writing to fsb_mail@timeinc.com.
