JB on fox says Savanah to OBX 11p
He said that after the SW trough leaves it gehind, it will then be pulled in by the high the will be over the NE as forecast.
He did not say much about the loop specifically, just the overall motion.
I agree with him this time. He also said it's moving east too.

Andrew '92, Katrina '05, Gustav '08, Isaac '12, Ida '21...and countless other lesser landfalling storms whose names have been eclipsed by "The Big Ones".

It doesn't matter if that was one of his forecast hot spots. He can't wiggle his nose and make it happen.

Yeah, he does radio here locally, ( sounds like he lives here) so I usually catch him every morning. Rode my bike to work today so I did not hear what he said. Sometimes he let's 'er hang out there bit. Sort of what he doesn't say.
But last night he made a good argument for the track, and it looks like it it's happening. Lot of time left as slow she is moving though.

A lot of us had that concern as the GFDL and Euro consistenly showed that solution. Not sure about AccuWx as a whole, but JB pretty much conceded that idea yesterday and is now saying East Coast.
