lawsuits being filed because of the negligence of FEMA and its agency or will attorneys finally have a moral eagle on their shoulder? I think we will see a lot of filing being thrown around...

Since FEMA wasn't negligent, I doubt anyone would win such a suit.

Anyway, it's extremely difficult to win even a legitimate suit against the government.

I don't think there should be any law suits. While FEMA was too slow and is making it difficult for some people to receive help, they still made it here. I think it comes down to personal responsibility as well (not counting the elderly and children). The areas had evacuations ordered and for those that did not heed the warnings, they must take *some* of the responsibility that led to such a nightmare. We can't just wait for someone else to make decisions for us and let them take care of us. Don't take that statement wrong, I don't mean that the evauees don't need help because they most certainly do, but it comes down to survival as well.
