Wow, look at all of the blobs cranking up over Africa. If we get in the favorable phase of the MJO soon and the SAL continues to weaken, we might get some true CV storms.

Those are thunderstorm cells, south of 10N and nothing more. Don't sweat it.

I don't know what anyone was making reference to I don't remember seeing a lull. We are at O already and now a new invest. I think people make judgements just because of current conditions not thinking that weather is ever changing and can not be totally predicted.

Same here. People kept saying were in a lull... but a hurricane off the Eastern USA is not a lull IMO. Some people think that in order for it not to be a lull, you need a Cat 5 into Texas, a Cat 2 near Bermuda, a Cat 4 near Honduras and a Cat 3 off Africa...all at once.

The CV season is running out of time. It has maybe 2 weeks and more than likely troughs will pick any CV storm up and take it into fishland.

Why do people want a cape verde hurricane and why do they hope it hits land? That's very mean, you should all cheer that there are no cape verde hurricanes. I don't want a cape verde hurricane, and if one forms I hope it fishes out immediately. NO CAPE VERDE HURRICANES!

I don't want a hurricane. By "Wild" I mean dangerous or ominous
looking. A tornado is "Wild" (dangerous and ominous).
"Wild" is NOT
used in a good sense. It is used in an ominous or fearful sense.

fish storms are Boring
i want excitement, i want a Cape Verde System....with everything we've had this year, we need at least one long tracker to put an exclamation point on what's been a historic year! Just think guys, we could run the table with the hurricane list!!!!!
