The one east of the Bahamas is just the interaction between the trough that trails south of Ophelia and the easterly winds of the subtropical high...

The one east of the Windward Islands is a tropical wave that is being monitored for development...

Remember big O started as a mess of the FL coast too. I did not pay attention to it, but 92L whiched fizzled out. Two days later it became something, any blob in the tropics could become something.

I couldn't have said it better myself!
Although, strictly speaking, Barbados isn't really considered as part of the Windward Islands. Neither is Trinidad & Tobago, for that matter. For instance, when an advisory states that a system is (say) 1000 miles east of the Windwards, it's actually about 900 miles east of Barbados.

What about South American coast NE... that worries me in places like the GOM West...........gotta get some REAL sleep. Been having dreams of people and animals drowning so long (watching this board) that I can't see straight. My soul goes out to NOLA and MGC/ALGC folks, at least the ones that want it to rebuild on and stand up to say 'we are here and we refuse to leave because it is our little paradise'. I would say the very same if an F1/5 decided that I was living in the 'WRONG' place.......Central Texas. God save ALL our homes, such as they are.
