Greetings from Katy, Texas tonight where I have been at a very nice Marriott hotel since Thursday; September 01, 2005; the day my brother who lives not too far from here sent his plane to Magee, Mississippi to rescue my father and I from deteriorating conditions in and around Magee, Mississippi soon after Hurricane Katrina made landfall and came through there on Monday; August 29, 2005.
I have been trying to find websites providing good aerial images of the coastline in Biloxi since Katrina made landfall. CNN and Fox News are the 2 major cable channels in this hotel and hurricane coverage is beginning to taper off. I would like to see good aerial or satellite photographs of the beach road area between Gulfport and Biloxi, Mississippi.
Please post if anyone can help me out. I hope to return to Biloxi later next week; my neighborhood now has power although the water is still not safe to drink. While here in Texas I saw a doctor earlier today and got a tetanus (sp?) as well as a hepatitus (SP? ) A shot; something many back home in Biloxi have advised me to do before coming back home.
Big Steve

This is a neat little map - click on the squares and zoom in to the area you are interested in. It takes some time to get oriented - I believe there is a disclaimer about the north-south orientation, but I could mostly locate the areas I was interested in.
