Is there some way to ban his IP address? Because the pervert still won't give it up! I go to the board to see what is new in the tropics and I get this sicko ruining it for everybody!

"Hurricane Floyd" with a space has and is a respected member of the community. "HurricaneFloyd" without a space was the spammer's username.

They could make it so that a user has to have their account approved.

He's simply got us right where he wants us.....ruining the forums and us complaining about it. Until he's banned, try to use common sense on the Topics and Authors. We all pretty much know the users around here and I believe the most of us can pick out a bum topic also. Hopefully he'll be all together banned soon.

An IP ban will do nothing, there are millions of proxies he can use.

There are still spam posts in a couple of threads, such as the 2005 Wind Swath thread.

I was fooled because of the name Hurricane Floyd. I thought it was the other member. And one of his topics was about the Outer Banks and thought it was weather related. So, I clicked it and my mouth was wide open when I found that filth.

I hate it when an imposter uses a lookalike screen name to get the other user in hot water.
