GOM - strangely peaceful and clear

#1 Postby LaBreeze » Fri Sep 16, 2005 9:32 am

The GOM seems so peaceful and clear at the moment. I hope that it stays this way for the near future - especially next week.

I'm afraid this is the calm before the storm, maybe even 2 storms by 10 days out.

Agreed....this peaceful time is just shaping up conditions for our systems down the road.

At least in the area of Galveston...Anything tropical should stay well south of us...And from what I read on the NOAA site, NOLA is looking good next week, as well...Of course things change but as of now, things look a little better than they did a few days ago
