What seems to be holding me up is that my new PC had a "ball" mouse; not as fast or accurate (esp. when timed) as one of those laser jobs. :(

I can't seem to get into the 90% area......

Like some have pointed out, I need previous states to get some right. The ones out west between Nevada and say Iowa are tough!

I'm in the upper 80%s......that's an improvement.....this is an addicting game....got any more like it?

Yeah, like I'd be great at placing European countries....LOL

Here's a couple tips:

Be careful where you place your mouse pointer on the state before you click on it. For instance if you wnat to line up Massachusetts with the outline of cape cod on the blank map, place your pointer on the western end of the state before you click. That way you can see what you're doing.

You can adjust the speed of your mouse pointer in Control Panel. If you make it go slower you get more precise control over the movement of the pointer.

Have a map of the US on the wall above your computer :P :P :P

I didn't look. Honest.
And besides, it's no help if Nebraska is the first one. There's just no way to eyeball it in perfectly.

Honest.

Well heres proof I stink at geography.......76%. That's a great tool though. I think I will do it about 20 more times or till I get at least 85%. Was in need of something like this. Thanks!

Don't feel bad....I was in the 70%'s too at first! I've managed to get into the 80%'s......forget that guy who got a 100% (teacher's pet no doubt!)......

I just need borders.....if given Nebraska first, as Ed pointed out, I'm screwed!

LOL

Mary

PS - news flash.....I decided to play again this fine Sunday morning...I scored 90%! Woohoo...was it b/c I was A. rested (10 hours of sleep) or B. the second cup of coffee I had? LOL And no Ed, I did not tape our US map on the wall above the computer (although we have one, it's one of those 4' by 6' ones teachers hang up)!
