The last satellite shot shown that this thing was quickly organizing. I expect they will find a tropical storm...

If they're flying at 850mb level (I think they are) then that 40 = 36kts surface if I'm right. Not sure, though.

Actually, if at 850, it would be 32kts, about 37 mph.

What ever it is thats the weak southeastern quad....Wait intill they get into the northeast for these systems.

The altitude is at 275 to 290 meters. They are flying pretty low. 700mb or lower.

700mb is about 2900 meters. That is their usual altitude for hurricanes. This is lower than 925mb, maybe 975mb.

I was thinking the same to but what would the reduction be to the surface?
925mb is about 80%
