The thing is, as he showed on Fox News several times last week, the Accuwx hurricane forecast for the remainder of hurricane season showed the Nothern Gulf, where Cindy, Dennis, Katrina and others all hit, as the area of least threat now, with the greatest threat being the outer banks of NC.
So, for their forecast and predictions to verify, they would have to say the Northern Gulf is of little threat. Likely trying to make their forecast look better for as long as they can. Whether it ends up being a threat or not, no one really knows and we won't for many more days.
Intrestingly enough, Accuweather and JB accused NHC/TPC of doing the same thing they appear to be doing. Not surprising...

Column is actually dated from Friday, but yes that it too early IMO too.
