Final damages may total 1.3 - 1.6 billion? Hmm... and its still going to go through the maritimes (and it will probably be worse there than if a tropical storm of the same strength hit the lower US coast, since they don't build with storms in mind).
I'd like the source for that damage total.
If this was a billion dollar storm, then every storm that makes landfall has the potential to be a billion dollar storm.
