You can get a .kml file from one of the keyhole forum sites that will download and overlay models, SSTs, sat pics, wind shear, etc. images on the map, but if you wish to create your own, you can use the "measure path" tool, or to get the one with the the polygons for cones and labels, you'd have to by the $20 upgrade I believe.
