No. Condtiions are not seting up PERFECTLY like they did with Katrina. Cat 4 is very possible but Cat 5 seems unlikely.

Too early to tell, but because of the excessively dry air in the GOM, 9 out of 10 chances no. There is a reason that three consecutive years with Cat 5 is so rare.

nope.......remember cat 5 are rare not the norm. Rita will be a cat 3 according to the reports I have seen posted here by profs. However , this is just IMO
