Really? Here just 20 mi. south we have nothing right now, blue skies, light clouds and a nice little breeze.

Would love a few inches of rain!

Edited to add: I just looked outside and the clouds are scudding by at a pretty good clip. We may be starting to get something here, too.

The TS watch is from Englewood south to Chokoloskee. We're north of there. We'll just get a regular fringe storms and winds from the bands.

Must be that...

As for whether a post about a 20 mph gust should be here or not, not touching it. Nope.

Maybe the exclamation points should have been left off. I agree, lots of touchy people here lately. Seems people are getting flamed for every little comment.

The sad part is wasting a new thread with an observation. Thats what the official Rita thread is made for.

Like Roseanne Roseannadanna's mama used to say.."If you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all". I know we're all a little on edge right now but please take other peoples feelings into account before you post.

Maybe...just MAYBE...a new thread about 20 mph gusts is not warranted. Maybe...just MAYBE...it could be included in an already existing thread.

just my opinion.

Personally, I'd rather see people come down on the "It's BOMBING!" and "ITS GOING ANNULAR!" chicken little threads than on poor Noah.

But point taken, this should be in the Rita thread.

Ok, enjoy attacking this thread,, hope it relieves all your tensions. :D

So many of you seem angry and now controversial..

After a storm like katrina and her damages, you would think people would have a little more sensitivity in general for people...nope. Wrong.

I mentioned the gusts to say how far her bands are coming, not that i was in FEAR of pending hurricane.. LOL

Just made a comment... Whatever..
