I would not call that "heavy". They are literally standing at the edge of the island, and the surge is only about 2-3 feet, and high-tide has passed.

I wasn't exactly expecting 30 foot waves breaking over the key, but when the water is running into buildings, that's heavy enough for me.

That's a housing development built on the edge of the island, and the house they were showing was probably about 20' from the ocean's edge (and not on stilts...so it is an older house).
