Checking out
Just had meeting with other staff in my UTMB department...we're bagging computers and prepping offices finally. Shutting down and moving out. No work tomorrow, obviously.
I'll be finalizing stuff with everyone I'm evac'ing with tonight so we can leave tomorrow, so I *might* get one more chance to check in online before I pack my hard drive.
If not, here's to the Island. Take care, everybuddy, and I'll contact my fellow mods and check in when I can.
Prayers to everyone!

Stay safe my friend and my prayers go to all who live in the Texas coastal area.

Duckie:
It doesn't seem fair after all the work you did to find the Katrina survivors, that you too could be so severely affected now. Hopefully, Rita will take a dip South into an unpopulated area of Mexico but if not, you are doing the right thing and getting outta town.
We'll be thinking about you, my friend, and all the others who will follow you out. Be safe and don't keep us guessing. Please be in touch as soon as possible.
