The responsible pet owner in a possible hurricain strike area would have a plan in place to get themselves and their pets out. People leaving their pets behind while they evac are simply illresponsible and should not have had the pets in the first place. If your pets die because you left them behind , while not by law a crime , I hope the guilt plauges you for the rest of your life.
If you have a pet, they are your responibility. I would "value" that animals life far more the self obsorbed illresonsible owner who merily trots off to safty while their pets remain behind to likly die horribly, terrified and alone. Put yourself in their shoes for a minute , their world revolves around you , you are the person they love (figurativly it's the only word that really matches). You leave , they are left alone. The storm hits , winds howling things breaking , they hide terrified in a corner or under a table shivering waiting for you to come and save them. But you never do... Soon the house comes apart , or worse floods , they are trapped and die painfully and terrfied beyond measure. The last hours of their life were likly very much what most humans fear , left to die by everyone you care about in a horrible long lasting nightmare you have no control over, in this case a hurrcain.
I respect people who remain behind with their pets out of a sence of responsibility. Even if they themselves end up dying at least they took responsibility for their mistake of not prepairing saftly for everyone before hand. I tip my hat to those folks. To the rest who leave their pets behind ... I really don't have words to describe how low I think you are.
OMFG...You have friggin issues..

Nothing else to say intensifiying faster than any storm I can even think off look at these numbers:
