DATA FROM RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT INDICATE THAT RITA HAS INTENSIFIED
A LITTLE MORE AND WINDS HAVE REACHED 150 MPH WINDS WITH A MINIMUM
PRESSURE OF 920 MB. THIS MAKES RITA A STRONG CATEGORY FOUR
HURRICANE.

heard they were going to hold off of advisories today unless they had something new to report - from the Fox met. The reason stated is it is not immedaitely threatening land.

No watches or warnings for land=no intermediate advisories.

Hurricane Watch is coming either at 5pm or 11pm EDT though so the intermediates resume after that.

Yea...that's because recon has found a Category 5 Hurricane, but forecaster Avila doesn't want to upgrade it.

2 has come and gone...no intermediate forecast at 2...only an update.
