CATEGORY FIVE INTENSITY WITH ESTIMATED MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE
WINDS OF 165 MPH. THIS WILL BE REFLECTED IN THE 4 PM CDT ADVISORY.

Derek reported on another thread on a major pressure drop, but said he would report it when confirmed. Someone else posted they found 908.

If another Atlantic storm had dropped pressure by 84 mb in less than 30 hours, I've never heard of it.

Was the 908 from a dropsonde? If so, to me it seems crazy to use an extrap instead.
