Hurricane Hugo made landfall in South Carolina. Never in my wildest dreams have I imagined that I'd see so many hurricanes that have matched and surpassed Hugo in size, strength and destruction.

I was three years old during Hugo, living in Columbia, we had a lot of trees down and garbage cans knocked over, and there was a small hole in our roof. I slept through the whole thing however
.
Anyway In July 2004 Hugo was the 2nd costliest hurricane, by the end of this year he could be as low as 7 or 8.
