Mini-observations taken every 30 seconds from the recon aircraft. It lists the time, location, winds, wind gusts, dewpoint, temp and other juicy information if you no how to read it

IF not it's just a buncha jibberish... LOL nah just kidding. Basically it usually is easier to just wait for the vortex message for info unless your recon junkies like some of us. Basically all the numbers are saying right now is they are flying over land on the way to the gulf and have around 20ish mph flight level winds.

If this storm kepted bombing through out the recon off time. The recon might be in for a stronger system. I hope they be very careful. Who knows how powerful Rita is right now. The winds might of caught up with the pressure.

If this storm kepted bombing through out the recon off time. The recon might be in for a stronger system. I hope they be very careful. Who knows how powerful Rita is right now. The winds might of caught up with the pressure.

My prediction this afternoon was pressure to drop around 890 or lower at some point overnight

I do expect pressure to be lower and wind speeds higher because of sat loop presentation before sat blackout occured.

I noticed that too. The ball of convection looks a bit more elliptical and the deepest convection isn't as uniform around the center. Looks like a possible eyewall replacement cycle is about to begin, so look for a double max in the wind field when recon passes through.
