I think IMO that all warnings and watches will continue to shift eastward as the day progress. She is much further North at this Longitude than had been expected 12-24 hours ago. Actually was not supposed to cross 25 N until she crossed 90.8-91.0 W and has done it at 88.0. seems like a small difference in a way, but the small changes, still this far out, can make huge differences in where she is on the coast. I am beginning to fear for NOLA, and maybe the Ms. Coast also

Our local guy (Mike Reader - WLOX) said last evening that we can breath much easier once she passes 89W. But, I believe he was also considering her westward trend would stay below 25N at that point. I'll agree - if this "trend" continues, she will make a SWLA landfall...

Perhaps the 7am and/or 10am update will shed a little more reality to the picture. Seems, though, that the satellite view and the model shifts are easily agreeing with each other. How far east is going to be v-e-r-y interesting, to say the least.
IMO, we've been quite blessed with absolutely NO rain here since Katrina. My main concern is the potential for heavy rain in this area. I surely ain't ready for that!! I've still got serious roof issues and a TON (literally) of stuff out in the yard drying out... And I'm only one of thousands!!
