Take a pen or ruler keep it on her eye from the starting point of the loop. That my friends is northwest to me. If you continue to take it all the way up to the coast that is making a landfall exactly where the NHC says it will right now. Now just think if she goes nnw or n right before she hits. The question is how much more north would it have to turn in order to make a more Easterly shift like to Lafayette or Lake Charles?
