Bill mentioned the round of Trstrms had dropped twisters in Okla had finally come into the Sikeston,MO area.HVY RA+/Appoaching Trstrms also from his SW,where I informed him,a Twister was sighted E of Little Rock.
He has dial-up service so,he was offline. We kept the phone conversation brief for obvious reasons.
I told him I had the MEM 88-D fired up on my Hi speed Cable..More Storms to his SSW coming in over night,as the warm outflow boundry and nose of the V-Notch pushes up more Troppy moisture off to the E. of the main energy..still over Tulsa.
He may be offline for a few more hours,as the nocturnal boomers pulse and refire in any available unstable air, albeit it appear the atmosphere near Sikeston is relatively stable..not so to the S or SE.He should experience HVY RA+/CG/FF over the next 4-6hrs.Check

WOW.Check out the SAT DATA
Those wind Barbs in NE TX are an indication of terrific SFC Outflow from a SEV TRSTRM.Check out the action near Shreveport and Bill's SE MO.

Sounds interesting, Arizwx. Thanks for the information on Bill's weather and the links. I use many of the links that are posted here. There only so many, but very many... some each of us may not even know about, yet..... :D

This site is the radar with the wind barbs: http://weather.unisys.com/radar/rcm.html

Arizwx only posted the tip of the "iceberg"...although his radar didn't show it, I had T-storms with visible lightning strikes all around me when he called. My PC was already disconnected, and I didn't feel all that safe on the phone with the adverse activity around our humble abode... :o

Today wasn't much better; rain all day, just ceasing within the last two hours or so (try getting Annabelle [she be a ho'] to "go 'side"..."You want WHAT? YOU go 'side!")

TWC says more of the same later this week...Tuesday at the earliest. Operators ARE standing by for offers of Ark-sized boats for the SEMO area..."Captain Midnight's good ship
'Bootheel'" weren't meant to take on a gale line loike this'n, Arrgghh!
