It's almost definitely going east of Hou/Gal. It would have to take a very unusually hard wobble westward to landfall near that area--meaning it will likely be on the west side; I guess we'll see how helpful that may be tomorrow morning.

No, the latest GFDL is well east of Galveston, near the border.

NOGAPS is close to Galveston, GFS was just barely east at 0z but 6z is just about right on the NHC track.

How reliable is the GFDL once inland? I'm curious because it brings it westward over Dallas. That could be huge for us if it verified.
