The eyewall is not collapsing. This is not just going to fall apart. It looks better than it did 5 hours or so ago. Is it strenghtening, probably not. But new Recon Vortex shows it maintaing very well, with 931 pressure and 124 kt FL winds, about 125 to 130 mph at the surface
These theories of this storm falling apart to a cat 1 or even cat 2 are a bunch of you know what. We will be lucky if this gets to 110, but I doubt it does. 115 to 125 looks most likely.
