I've noticed this evening he keeps asking how high the water will get, but doesn't get a good answer. He looks concerned to me. I don't know why the news people are required to put themselves in such danger just for money and ratings. Makes no sense to me.
Southerngale ---- were you able to find gas to get out of Lufkin last night?

Shep moved up the road a bit to Beaumont. He's using at least some sense. (Of course, I'll grant you he's stainding out in thet wind and rain, so only so much sense.) Geraldo is still in Port Arthur but says he and his crew will get out of there "if" (his word) the water comes up. Absolutely crazy!

I saw it he is standing in between the flimsy signs that are always losted in these storms he might have to duck soon.SkeetoBite wrote:baygirl_1 wrote:Shep moved up the road a bit to Beaumont. PS....I love Shep...he's the coolest dude
This is a little off topic...Wasn't Cantore in Gulfport at the retired navy guys' home or something like that when Katrina made landfall? Last I saw before our power went out, he was standing outside talking about a sheet of plywood that almost hit them, then he was on the cell phone talking to TWC saying the water was about 3 or 4 feet deep in the parking lot. Then our power went off. Never heard how bad it got where he was.
Wonder if that's why he's in Houston? Think Katrina skeered him?
