Actually the long range out of Nawlins looks like a WSW jog the last few frames..;)

Interesting, but have to believe the NHC...

Watch the loop from the 3.5 degree scan - you can see the inner eyewall much better.

No wobble, no slowdown. Right up to the Tx\La border. Most of the eye will be onshore in La. And shortly.

Almost due west in the last two hours and from where I'm sitting wobbles do make a difference this close in.
