Next tropical depression which might hit land is where?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I am an avid reader of this board, especially living in Palm Beach County and this is one of the reasons I don't ask questions, because I am an avid weather watcher, and if I ask a question, I am afraid of what the reply might be. The last time I posted was when Frances was coming to town and I was up in Syracuse....and all the people were great. I came home to get ready for Frances and Jeanne.

Thanks, and being from the east coast, I would like to know if there is a chance of something developing. :yesno:

Jesse, I quite agree with you, all earnest questions are welcome here. If I indicated otherwise, my apologies. I only meant to illustrate that, while tensions are high and traffic is really slowing down the board, and people are nervously hunting information because they are either in the storm, or worried about someone who is, it will tend to irritate them to see many posts from newcomers whom they may think 'post first and read afterward'. I wasn't giving that opinion about the original question. In fact, I also opened the thread because I was interested.

They should not have called anyone an idiot, but to suggest they were -removed- is just as ignorant IMO. It was unfounded and uncalled for. If you dont want to read any other posts than the Rita posts, then dont click on it.. Period.. Its that simple.
Again, I agree.

Apparantly some people on here have not bothered to read the Outlooks.. I am sure it is posted on here somewhere within the Storm2k fourm, but here it is just incase you missed it..
Again, I agree with you.

For anyone who wants this information, there are 4 TWO=Tropical Weather Outlook per day, and 4 TWD=Tropical Weather Discussion per day. You can either click on "Home" at the top of this page and look for initials at top of that home page, or, you can go to National Hurricane Center at http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ and then click on Tropical Analysis and Forcasting/Atlantic Products, in the left-hand frame.

Wow, Agua Teen keep on asking your question. I from south miami and the channel 7 news weather mention that a tropical wave was going to pass through south florida sometime in the coming week.

That's what the lady said..so yes there is something out there cooking. Did anyone else in Miami see this report? I'm just reporting what I saw.

yw, J! :D

This is my VERY FAVORITE link to QUICKLY see, at a glance, if anything is brewing out there. When I see tv anchors/mets hyping something, I always look here first:

WOW - that is fantastic. Thanks for sharing this.

I've actually been on the boards for over a year - started last year with Charley. I just never joined because it wasn't required to until this year. So some of us are not as "new" as we may seem. :-)

After storm2k.org, this is my favorite weather-related site:
