Could someone please explain this to me?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Could someone please explain this to me?

#1 Postby nicholle » Sun Sep 25, 2005 10:49 am

It takes a while to view the whole video, but there seem to be some strange things going one. What are those five symmetrical flare ups to the left of the hurricane? And what is that huge line of cold cloud tops that appears when the cane is over the continental US?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah ... I don't know enough technically about how this product works - but clearly those are some sort of false signal.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking it was some kind of an error as well, but wasn't sure if there was something to it.
