From 39,000 feet

On my way home from IL, while sitting 39,000 feet closer to heaven, I said a prayer for Dakota (and some others among you facing challenges). I took advantage to being "on the front step of heaven" to touch base upstairs.

We pray for his short term recover and that his long term prognosis be bright.

And for Raine and Tom, too, as this challenge is as difficult as any parent must endure.

Hi

I just got a message from Raine and she says that Dakota is not out of the woods. He has multiple problems, but she says he is a little better. They are staying with him 24/7.

Please keep those prayers coming.

Thank you Karan for keeping us updated. Poor Jackie...Dakota....the whole family. Can only imagine what they are going thru right now. Still praying.....please tell Jackie we're all praying for Dakota next time you talk with her Karan.

Thanks Karan!! Having met Jackie in NYC last year, this just continues to tug at my heart strings!! She is such a wonderful person and shouldn't have to endure this!! I know the Lord never gives us more than we can bear, but she is being slammed!!

MORE AND MORE PRAYERS BEING SENT UP FOR DAKOTA, JACKIE, TOM AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY!!

As my father's condition improves slowly but he, too, is still not out of the woods yet ... I will still be thinking and praying for little Dakota as well as for my father ...

I just talked to Jackie at the hospital. She sounded totally exhausted. As I said she's staying at the hospital 24/7. Dakota has peritonitis and an ileus. He's on massive IV antibiotics which should clear up both problems. He has a few other problems which must be addressed when he gets a little better.

Keep those thoughts and prayers coming. Jackie said your prayers are working miracles.

She wanted me to thank all of you.
