AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TALLAHASSEE FL
940 AM EDT TUE SEP 27 2005

.DISCUSSION...HAND DRAWN 12Z SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS A WEAK 1011MB
SURFACE LOW HAS FORMED IN OUR WESTERN COASTAL WATERS. THIS IS
CONFIRMED BY THE BUOYS 42040 WITH NORTHERLY WINDS AND 42039 WITH
SOUTHERLY WINDS. WINDS AT COASTAL OBSERVATION SITES ALSO SHOW A
CIRCULATION HAS DEVELOPED.

buoy 42040 is located south of Mobile, AL and buoy 42039 is located south of Panama City, FL. Use this link as references to the buoy locations: http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/Maps/Florida.shtml

You can see on this chart the appx location of the low. Look at the winds in the northern gulf.

Even on my GRLevel3, you can look at the wind data and pick up where the low is.
