So far, Dennis, Emily, Katrina, and Rita have been the big ones.

I'd watch Phillipe, since I first read the name list, Phillipe sparked a bad feeling in my gut. Most likely, Phillipe will be a TS not making any landfall.

Wow.... scary

Andrew92 wrote:I again keep Gert and Jose as my big ones. However, I have a caveat that is bugging me, so I'll say it.

I posted it in another thread, but it's very pertinent to here too. This season may be more active than expected, and now here is where my gut comes in. At various times over the last few years, I have envisioned a hurricane (at various intensities) in the GOM. And it has always had the same name: Rita. Now, Rita is on this year's list. I certainly hope we don't get down that far, but if we do, my gut tells me Rita could be a late-season surprising big one.

In short, Gert, Jose, and maybe even Rita if we get that far are my big ones....but let's hope we don't get to the "R" storm! Still, with '95, '03, and '04 as analogs, what can we expect?

Zounds, my gut and I both nailed it on Rita!

Lake Charles has not had a direct hit from a hurricane in a long time. I been having dreams almost every night about another hurricane hitting. But, this time the NE eyewall being directly over my home. In the last dream, a tree fell through my grandparents home. I think it is just stress.

Cajungal and Scostorms, nice calls.

Uhh... my (un)lucky streak of guessing continues.

And to think, even though I posted it for the first time in May, my gut told me for a couple years that there would eventually be a GOM hurricane named Rita! I had a similar vibe from Ivan in '04, and I nailed that one too.

Sheesh, I've learned a lesson two years in a row now. If my gut tells me about a possible hurricane a couple years in advance, and it never goes away, and it's a name that's in rotation, I'm sticking with it! And now, in 2005, I also learned not to care how far down the list it is.

I think Stan, is going to be a weak tropical storm that moves through the Caribbean.

Tammy, I said before and still am sticking with it. For some reason it slips off the tounge well......hurricane Tammy. Sounds like an innocent name but so did sweet Rita. Just a gut feeling, my eyes where drawn to it.

**Late Season Prediction**
I keep thinking South Florida is going to get a big October storm from the west, kind of like Irene in 99, but more than a weak Cat 1. So I don't know about the name, but I keep getting the month....October. A Storm from the carribean going NE over SoFla. Hmmmm.....maybe Vince.

I think Stan sounds scary, could Invest 99L be it? Stan always gave me the chills, but I ignored it since it was so far down the list, now, well, who knows?

O town. I get a sick feeling as well thinking about Tammy. But that could be because I have a wild crazy friend with that name. But there is SOMETHING(dont think it is Stan) out there that doesn't sit well with me. Last time I had this sick sick feeling, was about 5-7 days before Katrina. I get physically sick to my stomach, serious GUT FEELING. Plus I can feel it in certain parts of my body and NO I do not have arthritis. Was able to predict Snow Storms with these weird pains, refered by me as ghost pains. They move, and get worse, the worse the weather will become. The sick stomach makes it even more so. Of course, everyone thought the idea was crazy until I felt 100% better physically after Katrina. I have began to make a log....LOLOL....
