That's what I thought. Too many of my friends did not take preparations seriously enough. Of course, I was accused of over-preparing, and I got comments like, "Well, I know where to go if I'm hungry" - referring to my stocked pantry and water. Which brings another point to mind - had it hit, I stocked only enough to get five people comfortably through for a couple of weeks - I was somewhat dismayed by these comments cause it made me feel as if other ill-prepared people where counting on my preparations - and everyone who knows me is aware that I'd never let someone starve or be misserable if I could help.

I'm glad you were prepared. It's much better to be over prepared than the opposite - esp. when we are talking about food, water, and emergency supplies. Unfortunately, most people don't realize how precious that is until it's taken away from them.....then they depend on people like us to survive.
