Enough is Enough...

#1 Postby dwg71 » Wed Sep 28, 2005 10:23 am

I cannot imagine another storm, lets pray we dont take another hit. Enough is enough. 99% of the country is going about there business and 1% is suffering enough for everybody. From Far eastern TX to AL life has been altered forever. I'm tired.

Our first cool front should be here tomorrow, lets hope TX is done for the season.

Dr. Gray's staff report says we have a 21% chance of a Major

If next year starts off like this one we need to rest, like now, to be prepared for next year. I for one am ready for a change in season.

Personally, I am ready for some cooler weather. Everything is 'tired' looking and now my neck of the woods is just hot and dry. Last year, it seemed that after Jeanne, everything just stopped and the cooler weather came. I was so glad to see it! We have plenty of time to track more storms...as climatology suggests, we are going to be in an active period for 10+ more years. I am sure we will all be here counting them all!

But everyone, especially the Gulf Coast needs a break now. NOLA, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama need a chance to regroup. NOLA really needs to re-think rebuilding and plan accordingly since they have basically no more barrier islands or marsh lands left. Mississippi, Alabama and Florida all need to re-think the building so close to the coast. Why not make the coast all State Parks! JMHO of course.....

LOL. I bet some people along the coast who are still waiting on those FEMA trailers would disagree with that statement....maybe they'd like to see some cooler weather, but i doubt they'd welcome snow.
