If it continues to intensify, hurricane strength is definately a possibility.

I made a spelling mistake when I spelled 'stronger' as 'stromger' in the part where I put the Category Two option.

cycloneye, can you correct that?

LOL CV Wave, you always bump it just when I'm about to post.

Anyway, the setup for this system is similar to the setup for Phillipe. Strong westerlies just to the north are expected to help it with outflow for now, allowing rapid intensification IMO to a strong Cat 1. Thereafter, the westerlies are going to start shearing TD 19/Stan.

These westerlies will not let up, and if anything, they are expected strengthen. Thus, I believe anything above a Cat 2 is unlikely.

I'll say 105 mph...but I kinda hope it hits 115 mph...it would help my forecast of 7 major hurricanes. I remember I said, I hope Maria makes Cat 3...and it just barely did, but, was the 4th major...if we have Stan, then thats 6 major hurricanes, with one Caribbean Late Season....that would make 7 major hurricanes.

It will, in my opinion, become a tropical storm, but not stronger.
