Yes I do went this to be upgraded to Stan. He will harm no one...It sure looks like a tropical storm to me. Puts Grace,Lee,Gert,Alison, in many sorry looking systems to shame.

No, I do not want it named Stan. If TD 19 is named Stan, then the system in the Caribbean could be Tammy. Louisiana seems to be a magnet for female named storms.

Tammy sounds very "East Coast". If I lived in Louisiana I would be more concerned about Vince. :eek:

Yes, but so far this year we have had Cindy, ending in "y", Katrina and Rita, ending in "a" and if we were to have Tammy, she would end in "y" like Cindy.
This has to be the most scientific post that you have ever read, ha??!!

Let's stop worrying about the record, and more about the lives of people impacted this year, and last year--two awful seasons back to back.

You got that right I agree its like the female storms have it in for the Gulf Coast
