Off topic (kinda) Anyone else have this?

I was just checking my NOAA website and THIS was at the top of the page......a "Experimental Ridge Radar!" Anyone else have this?

Yep -- they've been doing this for a while. It's the same old radar, just a new, better Java interface, with a few new bells and whistles. Eventually, this will replace the standard radar product you see when you go to the NWS sites.

They have had this up since early spring I thinkk ...lol.. They were asking at one point on the sites what you thought about it and what changes would you make.. I am not too sure I like it though. Makes it very slow to load the loops sometimes.. graphics could be better IMO
