hurricane on Fl. West Coast?

Caught something on Fox on my way out the door about storm near Yucatan heading NW and could be strong TS or CAT1 by Friday on the Fl. West Coast. What's this?

A wave down by the Yucatan.. If it's a cane by Friday.. It would blow up pretty quick because tomorrow's already Thursday
