Well there is a lot of intense convection out there. What I meant
by quiet is that there are no major systems (TS's or Hurricanes)
right now.
We get this tiny break before things likely crank up again
especially across the central and western Carribean...

WE ARE IN A RELATIVELY QUIET MOOD, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE ARE COMPLETELY QUIET!

Ok, here's Newton's laws of hurricanes: you take your boards down, a major hits you, you leave them up, and nothing happens for the rest of the season...

I totally agree, it is quite nice to have a lull. After two very tough back-to-back hurricanes seasons, you guys all deserve this break.

Still, you never know if another one will come in October. Like all of you, I hope it doesn't come, but stay prepared just in case.

But enjoy this lull.

Yep but most of it now will be sub-tropical.
