Vince is a very small system. It won't be a threat for the Madeira Island right to the east of it. If it is moving slowly N-NNE as expected, it will meet colder water and weaken. It is expected to be absorbed by a cold front moving in from the NW after some days, and then becoming a intensifying extratropical low moving towards Ireland.
See some charts from the Dutch KNMI:

And it's first advisory will be at least at 50mph. That doesn't happen too often, I don't think. Any way someone could find that out?

It will probably weaken before making landfall in Portugual. No TS warnings or watches needed.

Hopefully it will weaken, but they will still feel the effects of it.

Doing some climo searching, Ivan 1980 was the only storm to originate in this area, actually .2S and .7W of Vince's model initialization point, and the closest we have come to TS landfall on the Iberian peninsula is with Frances 1992 and Jeanne 1998. Both were downgraded to TDs about 12hrs before making the landfall. Also, Arlene 1987 is the only other TD to make landfall there. So not a whole lot of climo to go on, as no storm has originated here and moved eastward.

i hope that it weakens in terms of wind but not in rain

Portugal needs rain, a lot of rain.

in 1966 Faith moved north of Britian as a hurricane

Hurricanes have made landfall in Europe before, but they are usually Gulfstream riders that are moving near 50 m.p.h.

I hd noticed that in the archives but wasn't sure if it really was a hurricane at 60.4N. What a year that was; winning the world cup and a hurricane travelling between Iceland and Scotland.
