My father has been moved out of ICU and into COU (Close Observation Unit) ... he still has the tube where they did the tracheotomy, but does not require the use of the breathing machine ... it's looking better, but he still has a long way to go ... but he's fighting (sometimes literally with all the stuff attached to him) and things seemingly are continuing to get better ...

Great news SF! Recovery is a slow process but it sounds like he's started on the way! We'll keep praying for you both! :-)

Mike - still praying for your dad and you too (in addition to raine's son). Yes healing is a very slow process from something like this. I know you'll be there to help and lend support - that's so important! Thinking of you......

Recovery is both a physical and emotional process. It sounds as though the stage is set for continued improvement. Glad to hear it and will keep checking to see how things are going.

Mike,

I just read all your posts. Sounds like you've had a really rough time of it. Your Dad will definitely be in my prayers along with you and your family.

God Bless
Karan
