Now children lets all join in and sing the above.

Sorry but i just couldn't resist it. It reminded me of teaching a elementary school class on the first week of school.

What a shame if we didn't get to Alpha this year. We have a party prepared but the guests don't show up.

Its starting to look like it.
1# 22 dies
2# System over near 22/64 looks like its gong to be extratropical.
3# Central Atlantic system poof like the rest.
4# Western Caribbean area of convection will not form.

So its looking less likely by the day. But we will see.

As long as it's not a monster, I think I'd be pretty excited to experience Tropical Storm/Hurricane Alpha.

Really, we still have a month and a half of a season to go. And all we need are two more storms.
